Description 

At TransAmerica Express Logistics, We’re seeking enthusiastic and determined people to help us exceed expectations and provide the excellent services that our customers have grown to rely on. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills. They will learn a strong understanding of the entire process, excelling at building relationships and partnering with carriers for capacity. Often tasked with being the first point of contact for customers and carriers, you must be professional.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for finding carriers across the country to transport our customers' shipworms, working collaboratively to ensure all freight is transported most cost-effectively, providing value alongside best-in-class services.

Duties and responsibilities will include the following;

• ​Represent our company well at all times
• Build relationships planning and organizing daily work 
• Possess in-depth capacity knowledge and be able to negotiate and relay objection handling
• Achieve goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined process with potential carrier
• Work collaboratively with our customer sales team and keep them updated on the status of customer shipments, acting as their point of contact. 

What are we looking for? 
We’re looking for a results-driven person with excellent interpersonal skills to seek out and engage carriers actively.

As well as this, the following are required;

• Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not required as full training will be given
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Demonstrable drive for success
• Strong work ethic 
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
